Static Tests Begin

Embraer transferred a E190-E2 fuselage from its plant in São José dos Campos to its facilities in Eugenio de Melo. The fuselage will be used to conduct static tests. In the coming weeks, the company will also transfer the wings to the same test bed. The static tests for the wing-fuselage assembly represent a particularly important step in the product certification campaign that will lead to EIS of the E190-E2 in the first half of 2018.
