Our long-time ERJ customer in the USA is now flying E-Jets.
ExpressJet received the first of 25 new E175s in a handover ceremony at our factory in São José dos Campos today. The airline will operate its E-Jets for United Express. When all 25 aircraft are delivered, there will be more than 175 E175s among all United partner airlines flying the airplanes in United Express colours.
The ExpressJet E175s are the “SC” (special configuration) type with 70 seats – 12 United First, 28 Economy Plus, and 30 Economy Class.
ExpressJet was an early operator of the 50-seat ERJ145 regional jet. At one time, it had a fleet of 275 of the type. Today, it flies about 100 ERJs.
