E-Jet Number 12 for Fuji Dream Airlines

Japan’s Fuji Dream Airlines has received its 12th E-Jet, an 84-seat E175 painted white.

Each aircraft in the carrier’s all-E-Jet fleet sports a different, distinctive colour. The bright liveries, among them fuchsia, tea green, gold, purple, red, and bird-egg blue, represent the unique identity of the each of the country’s many regions.

Fuji Dream saw an opportunity to link underserved communities after mainline airlines reduced or cut domestic service in 2008. It began flying from Shizuoka Airport in 2009 with an E170. Today, the carrier has three 76-seat E170s and nine 84-seat E175s.

Want to know more? The airline’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Yoshihiro Miwa, gives his perspective on the airline’s future, the market, and his all-E-Jet fleet in this interview recorded at the 2018 Singapore Air Show.
