Congratulations Scoot on the arrival of the E2 into your fleet.
Scoot, the low-cost arm of Singapore Airlines, have become the first operator of the E2 in Southeast Asia. The airline will take delivery of nine E190-E2 aircraft.
The quietest and most fuel-efficient aircraft under 150 seats, the E2 will support the airline’s growth strategy of serving thinner routes to secondary and tertiary destinations from Singapore. Some of these destinations have airports with runways less than 2,000 m, something the E2 with its short runway landing capability, can handle with ease.
Southeast Asia has seen a huge growth in leisure and business travel in recent years, so we’re proud that Scoot have selected Embraer jets to grow their business, enhance connectivity and accelerate opportunity.
