Wireless Entertainment from Panasonic

Embraer has selected Panasonic and its eXW product to provide streaming in-fight entertainment and Wi-Fi on the E2s. Passengers will have wireless access to movies, music, news and the Internet via their personal devices. eXW supports Windows, Mac OS and iOS devices and many browsers including Safari, Chrome, IE, and Firefox.

In addition to increased broadband connectivity for passengers, the eXW platform offers other wireless in-cabin functions for airlines.

Panasonic has the only global, broadband in-flight connectivity service operating in every country in the world today. Its network covers 99.6% of all air routes.

The first system will be installed on a demo aircraft.
