Trans states selects E175-E2S

Embraer’s E-Jets E2 order book is growing again with a conditional order announced at the 2014 Farnborough Air Show for up to 100 E175-E2s from Trans States Holdings of St. Louis, USA.  Trans States Holdings is the parent company of Trans States Airlines, Compass Airlines and GoJet Airlines.  The agreement calls for 50 firm aircraft and options for an additional 50 jets.  Deliveries for Trans States’ 76-seat, dual class E175-E2s are scheduled to start in June 2020.

Trans States Holdings has been an Embraer customer for more than twenty years.  It currently operates  some 70 ERJs and E-Jets through its Compass Airlines and Trans States Airlines subsidiaries which fly those aircraft on behalf of United Express, US Airways Express and Delta Connection.

To date, Embraer has received orders, options and letters of intent for 550 E-Jets E2s.  The first new E2, and E190-E2, will enter revenue service in 2018.​
