SkyWest Inc. is adding more E-Jets.  Already the largest regional airline group in the world, the company announced a firm order for 8 more E175s during a press conference at the 2015 Paris Air Show.  The aircraft will be flown by SkyWest Airlines under a capacity purchase agreement (CPA) with Alaska Airlines.  The transaction is valued at USD355 million.  Deliveries start in 2016.

This is the second agreement between SkyWest and Alaska Airlines for the E175s. In November of last year, the two companies signed a CPA for seven aircraft of the same model.  The first aircraft under that agreement was delivered earlier this month.

The E175s are configured with 12 First Class and 64 Economy Class seats.
