Seven More E175s for SkyWest

Seven More E175s for SkyWest

SkyWest, Inc. is growing its E175 fleet again. Our long-time customer in the USA signed an order for seven more E175s. The order has a value of USD 340 million, based on 2019 list prices, and was already included in Embraer’s 2019 second-quarter backlog as customer “undisclosed.” When these new E-Jets are delivered, the carrier will have a fleet over 160 E175s.

These new E175s are the “SC” (Special Configuration) version with 70 seats. SkyWest will start receiving the new E-Jets in the fourth quarter of this year.

SkyWest and Embraer have a long history. The St. George, Utah, airline flew EMB120 Brasilia turboprops for 28 years.

Today, SkyWest flies its big fleet of E175s under partnership agreements with United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines.
