For the eighth consecutive year, delegates from airlines, banks, academia and the consulting world gathered in São José dos Campos on May 15 & 16 to exchange their perspectives on the industry in Latin America.
The event, co-sponsored by Sabre, SITA, Shell and Pratt & Whitney, attracted some 140 attendees. This year, the conference featured several presentations on how Embraer E-Jets are being deployed in customer networks.
Mr. John Rodgerson, Azul’s Chief Financial Officer, explained how the airline has been able to command a 24% share of Brazil’s corporate travel market. Olga Guizado, Scheduling and Strategic Planning Manager for Copa Airlines spoke about the fleet flexibility and the diversity of the Copa network and Mr. Corneel Koster, COO for AeroMexico, cited domestic traffic growth rates, how the airline has been able to control CASK, and future fleet plans.
