The airline received its new E190-E2 at a ceremony in our delivery hangar in São José dos Campos on October 28. After the formal hand over, guests gathered in front of the hangar doors to watch the aircraft taxi to the runway. There was spontaneous applause when the E2 rolled down the runway and took off into the clear evening sky.

Helvetic hosted a ceremony in its own hanger in Zürich to welcome the E2 to the fleet. Industry VIPs, employees and members of the European media attended the October 31 event.
