Airline Economics held its Growth Frontiers Asia Pacific conference in Singapore on 8-9 November. The event attracted delegates from across the region who heard from aircraft manufacturer, leasing company, and financial community experts. Embraer representatives participated in three panel discussions during the two-day event.

Aircraft Supply and Lessor Content
The discussion addressed these critical issues:
. Which types of aircraft are easiest to place given delivery delays, supply chain issues, and MRO slot availability?
. How are delivery delays affecting lessors?
. How is escalation impacting new aircraft pricing?
. What will happen to lease rates in a high-interest rate and high-inflation environment?

Martyn Holmes, Chief Commercial Officer for Commercial Aviation, presented Embraer’s forecast for new aircraft in the region and expressed his optimism for the regional segment.

Adam Young, Embraer’s Marketing Director for Commercial Aviation in Singapore, discussed several issues, including:

. the near and long-term outlook for regional aircraft leasing in APAC and other world regions
. the impact of passenger-to-freighter conversions on regional aircraft leasing
. challenges and advantages for regional aircraft financing.

ESG Panel
Fernando Grau, Director of Market Intelligence for Embraer in Singapore, reviewed Embraer’s ESG goals and plans for the company’s new sustainable product initiatives – the Energia Family and E-Jet SAF compatibility.
