Air Peace of Nigeria converted three purchase rights for E195-E2s from the original April 2019 contract to firm orders. The transaction, announced at the 2019 Dubai Airshow, has a list price value of USD212.6 million.
The airline now has 13 E195-E2s on firm order and 17 purchase rights for the same model. The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2020. Each E195-E2 is configured with 124 seats in dual class.
The new E2s are part of Air Peace’s plan to build network connectivity in Nigeria and feed long-haul flights from its Lagos hub.
Air Peace Hopper, a subsidiary of Air Peace, currently flies six ERJ145s on short-haul routes.
