Celebrating 15 Years Flying E-Jets at Air Canada

Air Canada was the E175 launch customer with an initial order of 15 E175s. Today there are 25 E175s serving domestic and transborder U.S. cities flying under the Air Canada Express banner. Approximately 25 million passengers have flown in these aircraft, with over 650,000 hours logged.

In 2013, the airline transferred all of the E175s to Sky Regional Airlines under a capacity purchase agreement to operate the E175s as part of the Air Canada Express network. The E175 fleet has since grown to 25 aircraft, each configured with 12 seats in Business Class and 64 seats in Economy Class.

After 15 years, as we reflect on over 20 customers who are flying 630 E175s across 13 countries, we are very proud to see the iconic red maple leaf on Embraer E-Jets!
