As part of its fleet modernization program, Belavia of Belarus took delivery of the first of two new E195s at a ceremony at Embraer’s factory in São José dos Campos. The airline currently operates two E175s from its hub in Minsk. The E195s are configured with 107 seats in a dual class layout.
Minsk is strategically located to facilitate connections between cities in western Europe and the dozen destinations the airline serves in Russia and Central Asia.
The carrier intends to deploy the new E195s between Minsk and Moscow Domodedovo, Prague, St. Petersburg, Amsterdam and Batumi.
