BA launches new Manchester routes with E190s

After a 10-year absence, British Airways is reintroducing nonstop flights from Manchester to six vacation destinations in Spain, France and Greece this summer. Its CityFlyer subsidiary will fly 98-seat E190s to Alicante, Malaga, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Nice, and Mykonos. Today, BA routes Manchester passengers to/from the European continent via its 10 daily Heathrow shuttle flights. The E190’s range allows the airline to fly nonstop and offer the ideal capacity and frequency for many seasonal markets.
