SkyWest is adding 25 more E175s to its E-Jet fleet.

SkyWest is growing again.

In early 2018, SkyWest Airlines will start flying the first of 25 new E175s.

Fifteen of the E175s are SC (Special Configuration) versions with 70 seats. The SCs have larger premium cabins but can be modified to the more typical 76-seat North American layout. The other ten E175s on order have 76 seats in a two-class arrangement.

By the end of 2018, SkyWest will have a fleet of 129 E-Jets.

The E175 continues to be a best-seller in the USA. In just over four years, Embraer has sold 361 E175s in North America, an 80% share of all 76-seat jet orders in that region.
