Members of North America’s Regional Airline Association held their
annual convention at Montréal’s Palais des Congrès from May 6-9. The RAA is a forum in which representatives
from airlines, airports, manufacturers, aviation industry suppliers and
government meet to exhibit their products and review critical issues facing the
regional market. Discussion topics this
year included the impact of pilot shortages, next generation air traffic
control systems, and budget cuts that have furloughed controllers at smaller
Embraer displayed its E-Jets product line at an exhibit that also
featured Brazilian refreshments in its hospitality area. The North American sales and marketing team
