 1,300 E-Jets. And Counting!

The E-Jets program has reached another milestone – production of the 1,300th aircraft, an E195. A delegation from China’s Tianjin Airlines accepted delivery of the landmark E-Jet at a ceremony at the factory in São José dos Campos.

Since they first entered revenue service in 2004, more than 100 airlines and leasing companies have added E-Jets to their fleets and asset portfolios. The family of aircraft accumulated some 20 million flight hours.

Today, you’ll find Embraer E-Jets flying on every continent.  In Asia, Tianjin Airlines operates the largest fleet of E-Jets. The delivery of this distinctive aircraft is the carrier’s 45th E-Jet.The E-Jets are the backbone of its regional operations and has been instrumental in growing its network and building flight frequencies.

Tianjin has 20 next-generation E-Jets E2s on order.
